The Romantic Bride is a real dreamer! She’s dreaming of a proper fairy-tale wedding, where all her wishes come true. The Romantic Bride chooses a majestic dress fit for a princess, with a beautiful wispy skirt and a bodice embellished with embroidery and sparkling details.
Atelier Emé suggests the Perla dress for the Romantic Bride, an elegant two-piece gown consisting of a tulle body with a high collar embroidered entirely with beads and a wispy tulle skirt. The Azzurra dress on the other hand has a bodice featuring sheer embroidered tulle with a plunging neckline at the front, and a lightweight pure silk organza skirt that falls in soft drapes. The Audrey dress could also fulfil the wishes of the Romantic Bride! A refined princess dress in a Mikado silk blend with a sensual neckline at the back, embellished by a pure silk organza couture bow, with tailored bow tails that are elegantly draped to cascade down the skirt, creating delicate movement to enhance the dress.
Anna Frascisco, a wedding planner with over twenty years of experience, recommends a common theme of times gone by for the Romantic Bride. Soft shapes, never compact, pale colours, preferably pastels, with a vintage flavour, a flavour that can be reflected in the choice of crockery.
Anna imagines plates with faded designs, or tablecloths with Toile de Jouy patterns!
And Silvia, who created the wonderful institution of Osteria Scotti with her family, also recommends choosing softness in the dishes on the table, giving the food a light, sunset-coloured tone as a narrative theme, with light floaty textiles for the table aesthetic.
Sofia from Il Profumo dei Fiori has some interesting advice about choosing flowers for your wedding day!
Romantic Brides should take inspiration from an antique pink colour such as that of Quicksand Roses, one of the most distinctive varieties of the common rose. An unrivalled colour, when paired with whites and other flowers in shades of pink, makes us think of a romantic ambiance straight away. If in season, Anemone and Astilbe add an extra touch of “English Garden” to a bouquet.
Sinatra Profumerie, a business in Turin that takes care of bridal hair and make-up all over Italy, tells us that the Romantic Bride is definitely a dreamer, and her wedding day is the day her dreams come true!
Romantic make-up dictates a luminous, almost ethereal complexion. The eyes take centre stage with neutral or pastel tones in the most delicate and sophisticated shades. The look is intensified with mascara and false eyelashes for an even more romantic touch. For the lips, matte neutral shades or a coat of gloss.
For a more youthful and carefree hairstyle, a wavy style is recommended, not too defined but well structured, worn half-up or down.
Romantic style is emphasised by a tiara that adds a beautiful point of light among the bride’s neat wavy locks.
Half-up styles are without doubt the most popular styles at modern weddings, and with the right styling touches, will look timelessly elegant!
Salvini creates jewellery that encapsulates a story of elegance, style and sophistication, making you a true vision of beauty.
The Romantic Bride’s look is a dream come true.
With such an important and sumptuous dress, Salvini recommends thinking about refined, luxurious details such as earrings and the #SalviniBagliori ring in diamonds and white gold.
Alternatively, opt for heart-shaped jewellery, to express romance, grace and elegance.
Additionally, thanks to its divine linearity, the #SalviniPreciousLoop tiara in diamonds and white gold embellishes a sophisticated dress that features a lot of embroidered detail: a little contrast between the dress and the jewellery creates the perfect balance!
Traditionally, the groom or his family pay for the bride’s ring and vice versa, but nowadays many couples choose and buy their rings together. Whoever is paying for them, choosing the rings is a moment that deserves to be shared. There are no rules for choosing a ring: a simple band in yellow gold is the most traditional, while rose gold has a sophisticated retro vibe. A gold ring reflects originality, whereas one with diamonds conveys taste, class and romance.
Salvini’s Battito collection has been created to celebrate love: a classic of traditional jewellery, redesigned in detail so that only to the couple does it reveal the ultimate symbol of love: the heart. A timeless symbol that accompanies the newlyweds in the most important decision in their lives.
For the Romantic Bride, choose a shoe that has the potential to make your dreams come true! The “Sacora” sandal by Jimmy Choo in satin with all-over pearls is perfect for all women that want to add a poetic touch to their day.
This style is a perfect souvenir of your wedding day, as you can wear it again to other occasions and relive all the emotions of your special day!
Shine, dream, and welcome.
The guys at Pop The Question have created a range of stationery in line with the desires and requirements of the Romantic Bride.
The save-the-date is a little story in itself, waiting to be discovered. On the outside there is a semi-transparent paper box in the shape of an envelope, simple but beautiful. Open it and you’ll find another little box in pink, in portrait orientation. Together, the pink and the transparent produce so many different shades of colours, subtle yet striking.
Inside the box is a light polka dot texture, which frames the save-the-date, embellished in a metallic rose gold colour. A play of transparencies and reflections, many perspectives on the same unique story.
